Hello and Welcome

So what started as a fairly normal summer vacation turned into this. What is "this" you ask? Thats a good question. I guess you could say at this point that "it" or "this" is many things, it's a song, a place, and even just a feeling or a belief.

The easiest to address of the three first, would be the Mill Pond Yacht Club as a place. The "Mill Pond" itself is an actual real body of water and you can easily find it on a map if you look it up. Its located in beautiful Water Mill, New York. As for the Mill Pond Yacht Club that too also exists. However you won't find it listed on any map, or even a single business listing online. Its definitely not your standard yacht club, probably not in the sense that you are thinking. However the Yacht Club is a very special place for the Muller family. It's their home and has been for many decades. It's a place where the family can always gather, share a good laugh and build memories. None of this would have been possible if not for Artie and Irene Muller. You can learn more about their incredible story by checking out the "about" page here on the site.

So what does all of that have to do with a song? Well the Mill Pond Yacht

Club song or single, somewhat happened by accident. Having been a very humbled guest of the Muller family for some years now, I have been fortunate enough to spend summers out in East Hampton. During that time I have fallen in love with the place. It just so happened on this particular visit this past summer, we started talking about what's now possible with technology today in terms of making music, as well as the future of the Yacht Club. So after a few days hanging out, braining-storming, and having some drinks, a song was born. It actually turned out pretty good (we think) and so instead of keeping it to ourselves, we thought why not share it with the world. So thats what we did. The song, "Mill Pond Yacht Club" should be dropping on September 20th, 2024. We hope everyone takes some time to give it a quick listen. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did in creating it.

How is the club a feeling or a belief? Well thats pretty simple. Even though surrounded by multi-million dollars homes out in East Hampton, its not the material things that matter but more about family and the relationship you have with others. We all have our own Yacht Clubs. A place where families can gather, sharing stories and pass along their history for generations to come. Everyone has their own special place. That may be a backyard, or your grandmother's kitchen, its that one special place where everyone comes together. Maybe its every week, or month, or maybe its just a few times during the year on special occasions to make memories. Hopefully you'll keep visiting here to learn more about ours and what comes next.
